Today Team Sybenetix achieved a very important milestone on our journey. We have reached an agreement to join our forces with Nasdaq, Inc.
This is a true testament to the outstanding team we have assembled, the rapidly growing business we have created and the advanced behavioural analytics solutions we have developed.
Over the course of the last few months we got to know Nasdaq better as a company and as individuals. Both sides became more and more excited about the possibilities of working together as one team. We did not decide to sell Sybenetix. We decided to sell Sybenetix to Nasdaq.
We are convinced that we can grow faster by leveraging Nasdaq’s resources in a way that we would be unable to do on our own or with any other partner. Our customers will benefit from the global scale and operational experience of Nasdaq that would allow us to serve them on all continents immediately.
Nasdaq recognises that our people are the key to our success and want to keep our team intact so that we continue to grow the business. We would like to thank all of our clients, partners and investors who helped us reach this tremendous milestone and are incredibly excited about what the future holds for us in a larger organisation. Our journey continues!
A remarkable journey for an extraordinary team:
You may be visiting the Sybenetix website having read the announcement that Nasdaq Inc. the giant US exchange and technology company has acquired Sybenetix Ltd.
As founders of a London Fintech we are extremely excited about the opportunity to share our experiences and knowledge with new start-ups and are keen to play a part in the London Fintech ecosystem in the future.
As the timeline below shows Sybenetix really did live the London Fintech dream and we thank all the people and organisations who have helped us on our journey.
There is one member of our team who is not here to join us during these celebrations. The mastermind behind the original idea and co-founder Peter Harnett tragically died just over a year after launching the original company. Very simply without his genius none of this would have been possible. A great friend, colleague and brother we all raise our glass and salute you.
